Description

Quilt, blue silk patchwork. Front: Background of half the squares is a blue silk floral dobby weave. The other squares are a mixature of colors and patterns, all silk. The weaves are plain, damask and twill. Colors include solid black, navy blue, brown, pink, lt & med blue, med green, yellowish-tan, a gray green. The other colors are stripes, florals, plaids. There are 8 multi squares per side and 8 blue dobby squares per side. Back: solid black high glaze cotton chintz. Edging: med/dark blue silk (also found in squares). Wool batting.
