He and his wife, Juliette Montague Cooke, ran the Chiefs’ Children’s School until going into business in 1849, founding the company of Castle and Cooke in 1851. 2. C Kanaina - Charles Kanaʻina was a chief who served on both the Privy Council and in the House of Nobles.
