D. Baldwin
Greetings to you,
I received your letter that was written on the 17th of this month, concerning House of
Noble’s passing the bill about suppressing wine. What you heard is true.
Listen, the nobles in the House of Nobles are unusual this year, in my observation.
At the time the bill for suppressing wine was passed, these were the only people who
opposed that bill:
Keoni Ii
Namakeha
Kekaulahao
P. Nahaolelua

Therefore, the majority of the house approved it, and we asked the secretary to place our names
in the record as being in opposition.
That is all.
I remain, with
gratitude,
P. Nahaolelua
D Baldwin
