The journal documents daily activities, observations, and experiences of Hawaiian royal students during their education under missionary influence. *Note: Skepticism exists that Alexander contributed to this journal at all, as he is only ever referred to in the third person. Moreover, the handwriting appears to belong entirely to the same person.
