1. Kamalani - Mr. Levi Chamberlain was a member of the second company of
missionaries. He was the superintendent of secular affairs for the mission and
served as a missionary teacher.
2. poaha - The Po‘ahā, lit. Thursday, is a reference to the Bible study meetings, held
on Thursdays, that prepared one for baptism and membership in the church
congregation.
3. Ulunui - Ulunui is not identified, other than being someone in a position to
recommend persons for participation in the Poʻahā Bible study group.
