Greetings to you, Mr. Cooke,
I received your letter concerning the misbehavior of the children. Your actions
were just and I have assisted in support of them. I placed our children in an isolated house
for a half hour and then released them. I do not condone what they have done. What you
did was the right thing.

Levi Chamberlain,
Greetings to you,
Grant me some cash, $25.00. There are the funds from us contracting the ship Paalua. I
have 45 dollars remaining with you. $10 for the reams of paper, this $25, and that leaves $20 still
with you. This is because I am in need of cash.
