The Maile Wreath (In Progress)

The Maile Wreath Collection contains manuscript and printed materials created by members of the Hawaiian Mission Children’s Society between 1861 and 1896. The collection includes essays, poems, treasurer’s reports, editorials, death notices, and other miscellaneous writings that document the literary, social, commemorative, and organizational activities of the Society and its members in nineteenth-century Hawaiʻi. Materials are primarily holograph manuscripts, with some clippings and duplicated typescript.
