Hawaiian, blue/cotton applique on white cotton fabric with wool batting. The pattern is known as Maui Beauty, but the donor said her quilt was called Kahului Breakwater. Applique is done with Wa-wae Moa stitching (chicken feet), as was the binding. The echo quilting was done 3/8" apart.

Repaired (see record) and foxed in places.
Badly faded and has a large brown spot.
