Hawaiian quilt entitled "Kahili a Me Peahi o Liliuokalani" (The feathered royal stands and fans of Queen Liliuokalani). Fabric is 100% cotton, design - medium blue; background - white; backing - white; binding - blue chambray; quilting thread white; applique thread blue. Batting is 100% polyester fiberfill. The fabric used for the background and backing are sheets as there are no seams; the blue fabric is laid with a 60" width sewn to a 26" width. Binding is /8" wide. Applique stitches good, quilting spaced 1 1/2" apart. Quilted pineapples at corners.

Has "July 21, 1948" embroidered in one corner.
